Aave Proposes 25,000 ETH for DeFi United to Cover Kelp DAO Exploit Losses

Aave has put forward a proposal to contribute 25,000 ETH towards DeFi United. The primary objective of this significant contribution is to mitigate the financial impact resulting from a recent exploit that affected Kelp DAO. Reports indicate that a broad coalition, including various other DeFi protocols and a multitude of individual users within the DeFi space, have also collectively pledged funds. These combined efforts have successfully secured enough capital to fully cover the losses incurred due to the Kelp DAO exploit, demonstrating a strong community-driven response to security incidents in decentralized finance.
