Trader Exploits Binance Glitch for $1.5M Profit on BROCCOLI714 Token

A crypto trader known as Vida reportedly made over $1.5 million in one day by capitalizing on an anomaly involving the token BROCCOLI714 on Binance. According to reports, the trader noticed a large wall of buy orders on the exchange on New Year's Day. Vida initially suspected a hacked account or a market-making bug. The trader then strategically traded around the anomaly in two phases, exiting a large spot and futures exposure into the pump and later shorting the token. The trader shared details of the trade on social media platform X. Binance has not yet publicly commented on the incident, according to reports.
